Awa is the Administrative and Accounting Manager for ACI. She holds a Masters degree in Ecology and Aquatic Ecosystems Management. As part of her integral role, she provides administrative support in addition to conducting turtle fieldwork when needed.

Mor Talla is an expert metal worker and handyman who leads construction projects for the African Chelonian Institute facility in Ngazobil, Senegal. He also oversees daily care and maintenance of all turtles and exhibits, monitoring the growth of head start hatchlings, and logistics during ACI events.
